"Oh, right." He pulled Matthew over. "Him too."

Lila couldn't help but laugh. Did he think she could just mass produce Best Actors?

Since the last variety show incident, although Harry was punished, the program team had previously been complicit, so Magi Pictures pulled their investment and took Matthew back.

Though he looked fine now, Lila still asked, "Are your injuries better?"

Matthew nodded. "Much better."

At least, he was better than Harry, who had three broken bones and severe internal injuries. He wouldn't be getting out of bed for another three to five months, and when he did, he'd still have to go to prison.

Lila nodded and glanced at the two of them. "You can join, but you'll have to go through the regular audition process."

"No way! With our relationship, you won't even give me a shortcut?"

"Since you want a challenge, go through the proper process."

Frustrated, Michael pulled out another lollipop. Before he could unwrap it, Lila snatched it away.

"No more candy. Go over there and get the script. I'll schedule your auditions later. You have two days to go through it. Let me know if you have any questions."

Michael stared at his stolen lollipop with wide eyes.

Matthew nudged him forward. "We'll buy some more later."

"You're not allowed to eat any!" Lila ordered.

The two hurried off. Why was she so cranky?

Lila could tell that Michael had come specifically to help her. But with the Xavier Group's downfall, his parents having moved abroad, and Mr. Xavier Senior falling ill after the Shannon incident-Michael had to support his entire family. Despite having offers with higher pay, he still chose to join her project.

She unwrapped the lollipop and put it in her mouth. The sweetness spread across her tongue, easing her tense nerves.

No worries, she still had a group of friends always supporting her. Everything would be okay.

Lila was busy all day. Kieran had sent her two messages in between, but she hadn't noticed.
