Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1415

Andre had this sneaking suspicion. "She didn't go to the hotel, nobody's at home, so the only place she'd feel safe and undisturbed must be somewhere she owns. That means she bought herself an apartment."

He continued, "My wife's way richer than me. I still give her a monthly allowance, and her dad sends her money too. She never even looks at price tags. She probably bought a place on the sly and invited a bunch of people over for a party." But as for where, Andre still hadn't figured that out.

By the window at home, the sisters flanked each side, peeking out. Mia frowned. "What are they talking about? I can't hear a thing."

Molly guessed, "You think they're still plotting against us?"

Mia pressed her lips together. Nope, it was time to send in a little spy.

She looked down and spotted her son, happily playing on the floor, his little butt sticking up. "Mommy's sweetheart-"

Henry turned his head.

A moment later, he got his 'mission' and toddled off, grabbing onto his dad's leg and rubbing his cheek against it, trying to be cute.

Andre looked down. "I'll talk to you later the undercover agent's here."

Chad, seeing his nephew, laughed. "Looks like I'll have to keep an eye on Wayne too."

Andre grabbed Henry under the arms and lifted him up high. Henry's little hands shot out and grabbed his dad's car keys. "Daddy, I got a car~"

"Your car's still at Grandma and Grandpa's. Daddy hasn't brought it home yet." Henry clutched the keys and pressed as hard as he could. The car outside blinked its lights and gave a loud beep.

And just like that, Henry found himself a new favorite game.

That evening, in the Cedillo family's backyard, Andre's car kept chirping on and off... until Henry's little bottom got a couple of gentle swats, and the car finally went quiet.

Back inside, the two men didn't mention anything about the night before.

The sisters stayed on guard for a couple more hours, but nobody came to ask them anything.

Later that evening, Andre brought it up, casual as ever: "Mia, should we buy Henry a house?"

"He's just a kid. What does he need a house for?"

"For when he's older-he'll need it when he brings home a wife," Andre said.

Henry was sprawled out on his dad's lap, having already flipped through The Wealth of Nations, now starting on Capital When he heard that he tilted his head up at Andre, curious.

Andre asked, "How about Peninsula Heights?"

"You're buying way too early. He's still a little squirt. Wait till he finds someone,

then we'll talk about buying a place."

"It could be an investment. Whatnoveldrama

about Blue Star City? I've had dinner developer." Andre leaned

with the

dding Henry's hand as he

ed to turn the pages

Henry looked up at his dad, unimpressed. Honestly, Dad's reading speed was no match for his page flipping.

Mia hung Henry's wet shirt on the balcony and came back in. "Why invest there? Didn't you say the market's not looking so hot lately?"

Andre let go, and Henry immediately flipped through several pages. Dad grabbed his little hand again and

turned a few more pages ahead. What about Grand Manor?"

Ding...

Mia paused, glancing back at her husband, who was still lost in his book. Close

call-he didn't notice anything.

"That one's no good. Try another."

Andre's lips curled into a smile. Henry watched his dad's mysterious grin,

clueless, and pouted. "Daddy, where's Nora?"

Andre played along, "Daddy's still looking."

A while later, Mia shot another look at her husband. Andre casually rattled off a

couple more neighborhoods, but Mia vetoed them all.

"We'll wait and see,” she finally said. "No rush."
