Alpha's Second Chance

Chapter 0278

MADELEINE

Olivia showed us inside the house. And while Blaise brought Juliette to the room Olivia had ready for her, I looked into my room. This was a charming house, and I understood why the royal family have wanted some privacy.noveldrama

"This was my grandpa's house, and he passed away when I was little. Then, an old family friend used it for a few years, but she preferred being alone. So Dad built her another house." I hear Noah say behind me.

"It is a beautiful house," I answer as I turn and look at him.

"Yes, it is. Mom thought you would be most comfortable being with your family for

now. You will be with me when you are ready in the castle." He tells me and smiles at me when I blush.

"Thank you. I thought you would expect of me to go with you right away." I whisper, looking to the floor. And I feel his hands on my face, turning my head up to look at him.

"I want you there, but I will never force you even if you are not ready when your family goes to the new parkland. If you want to go with them, I won't stop you, but I will go with you to ensure you are safe." He tells me, and I nod my head.

"I will let you settle in. And I will come see you when I have had a shower." Noah says, smiling before he gives me a soft kiss.

"I see you later," I tell him, and he smiles and leaves.

I miss him, and I feel he left the house in the same second. I realize it is not only the matebond I feel. It is more than that, and my heart beats fast when I think of him. I am falling in love with him.

I looked in the bag with clothes, and Olivia picked some jeans, sweatpants, hoodies, and a few dresses and skirts. There was a little of everything, and I loved the style and colors she had given me. Other than clothes, there was essential stuff like shampoo and other things.

I picked some jeans, a top, and an open-over-shoulders shirt to wear and took a shower before changing. And the clothes fit me perfectly and felt so nice to have

on.

When I was clean and changed, I went to find Mom and Juliette and wanted to check if she was okay. I was walking towards the other rooms when I picked up some voices. It sounded like Oliva and another girl, and curiosity got the better of me. And I quietly moved to the stairs so I could hear them better.

"I am sorry, my queen. I didn't expect she would have been here, and I thought she would be with Noah." The girl says.

"I am not sure if it is a good idea for you to be here right now, Gina," Olivia says. I remember Noah telling me about a girl named Gina.

"My queen, I promise I mean no harm. Anything that have happened in the past ended the day Noah felt his second chance mate. I am happy he found her. He deserves that. happiness. And I promise I

"I know my sweet girl. You are no troublemaker, and that is why Logan and I never said anything. But I don't want Madeleine to feel uncomfortable." I hear Olivia say.

"I understand. I was hesitant to go here and didn't know if she would be here or

with Noah. I don't wasn't to cause any pain. I can go, get someone else to come help Dr. Kendra." Gina says. She sounds so sincere and sad that she could cause pain.

"Your Highnesses," I say softly and walk down the stairs.

"Madeleine, please call me Liv or Olivia. This is." She start and I interrupt her.

"Gina, yes, I know. I'm sorry, but I heard you talk. Noah did tell me about them." I tell Olivia and turn to Gina.

"Noah, say you are a good person. And I can feel how sincere you are right now I am not mad about the past, and trust Noah. You can stay and do your job, helping the Doctor. Maybe you can even become friends with my sister. You know the pain she is in now." I say softly,

"Thank you, Miss. I am sorry, but I don't know yet what title to use." Gina says, looking to the floor.

"Just call me Madeleine, please," I say, smiling at her. And she bows.

"Noah was right when he first told me he had felt your matebond. He said you are kind and a good person, he is right. And I will prove to you that I wish no harm." Gina says, bowing again before she hurries up the stairs.

I looked at her disappearing and felt a gentle hand on my shoulder.

"You are truly a remarkable young woman. Most wolves in your position would

have thrown her out." Olivia says.

"I have seen my sister in pain for months, seeing her slowly disappearing. I understand she looked for a tread of care and
